Love Prepares began with one life-changing realization.

One day, after worrying news from the hospital, I drove to collect my son from school. As I waited, I watched parents arriving to pick up their children. Some held little hands.  Every one of them was doing what parents naturally do—loving, preparing, protecting, and caring for their children.

As I watched those families, one question stayed with me:

If parents spend years preparing for their children's future while they're here, why do so many of us never prepare financially for the day we might not be? 

The truth was, that question wasn't about other parents.

It was about me.

I realized that if something had happened to me or my husband, our children would not have been financially prepared to continue life as they knew it. We had spent years loving and preparing for them in so many ways, but one important preparation was missing. 

That realization changed my life.

It became the beginning of Love Prepares.

Today, our mission is to help parents and families continue showing that same love through financial preparation, so the people they love can face the future with greater confidence, whatever life may bring.
